Having only covered under 70 miles since its last MOT in August 2021 you can see why this vehicle is only showing 13600 miles. MOT history back to 2006 to help to confirm this. I have had it since July 2019 and during covid it underwent restoration all panels fitted were Heritage the vehicle was stripped to a rolling shell and everything that was needed was done, a photographic diary of over 300 photos of the renovation were taken. From the factory the vehicle was flame red but before my time it had been painted and that red paint had reacted and looked like red oxide so during the renovation the opportunity was taken to paint the vehicle Tartan red with the previously black roof remaining black. It currently has an insurance value of 9950 The previous owner had the vehicle for around 16 years and covered around 6,000 mile in it in that time. Mechanically it has had a new clutch with the rear main oil seal being changed at the same time, a new slave cylinder, electronic ignition, including coil and leads, It's had new cones and shock absorbers all round It was MOT'd 28/06/2025 and passed with no advisories, as can be seen on the government website. The exhaust and inlet manifold are non standard. Other than that the engine remains the standard 998cc factory unit. The vehicle has had a few upgrades during its life with things like the sealed beam headlights being changed to halogen and the alternator being upgraded to a higher output. Most of the original items that were removed are still with the vehicle except for the steel wheels and hubcaps. The interior is standard so scope for the next owner to add their personal touch or keep it as standard depending on the route they decide to take with the car. The 12 inch wheels could benefit from a refurb and there are a second set of 12inch wheels included with the car, they have tyres on but I would only use them to stand the vehicle on while the other wheels are refurbished. The vehicle is not concourse but is a very clean and tidy rust free example which could either be retained with it is City trim or individualised by future owners.
