The Kendo was a special edition, making it a more exclusive MX-5. 2.0-liter Engine, 160 BHP and a 6-speed gearbox. It featured 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, and chrome accents on the front lights and grille. The Kendo included heated leather seats, usually stone-colored with grey stitching, and Kendo branded floor matts and Bose premium sound system. The Kendo also included the RHT (Retractable Hard Top) styling pack and Cruise control.
