Description

Hi and thanks for viewing 2008 Fiesta ST150 2.0 duratec. Just under 100k miles. MOT due 19.11.25. Kept near to standard. 2 keys. Good bits: Any inspection or questions welcomed. Too many new parts to mention as owned and maintained by me personally for around last 5 years. Big pile of receipts comes with the car alongside original ford book and Haynes manual if wanted. General service parts and oils been well maintained. Good tyres all round. Toyo proxies up front. 5th alloy wheel in boot with fair tyre( in black). Private ST08GER number plate(valued at 3 to 500 pound alone). Power steering reservoir relocated next to battery for better cooling of the steering fluid. New steering rack, engine mounts, suspension been overhauled, brakes good, came with mass air flow cone filter. Power fold mirrors and bonnet, heated leather seats, upgraded smart stereo with 2 hard drive slots( drives not included), reverse camera which works but camera is in boot just needing final fixing (original ford stereo included in sale). New Auxiliary belt including tensioner. New exhaust including cat also, upgraded moretta angel head lights. Engine and gear box run smooth with no knocks or bangs. Clutch was replaced about 2 years back and not driven all that much so plenty life in the clutch. Sadly some bad bits to mention to try avoid wasting anyone's time: Cooling fan and system has been overhauled however the fan refuses to kick in when it should. Changed rad and resistor, temp sensor, thermo, relay, blue hoses with couple yet to replace(also included) fuses including main 40 amp and still the fan won't kick in. Remote central locking doesn't work. Small coolant leak emerged recently once up to temp. It's in the vicinity of the thermostat, water pump and the head gasket. Thermo and water pump brand new so not sure exactly the location of the leak and haven't the time to fully investigate as new car here already and just too busy. The wheels and bumpers could do with a refurb. Few other scratches round about Air con needs regassing. Seat tilts & cables both need replacing. I have new cables and tilts(included in the sale). All issues reflected in price reduction. Overall I have put loads of time effort and money into this lovely little car. Hoping to find an enthusiast to continue taking care of her. Last of the natural aspiration engines so becoming rarer and more valuable. Won't take much to get her right up to standard. Very reluctant sale after all I've put into her.
