We have owned this VW Golf for about 10 years and 100,000 miles. It has been serviced and maintained regularly, so it has been a reliable car. It has 10 service stamps in the book, and another couple of invoices for oil changes. Cosmetically, it has a few dents and scratches. The worst is the nearside front, where a deer ran out in front of us. The near side was scratched with a key whilst we were parked up. There are also the typical imperfections for a car of this age. It has a tow-bar, which has only ever been used with a small trailer for local runs. We are averaging around 56 mpg (see picture), and tax is just 35 pounds a year. We are only selling it now as we have inherited a newer VW Golf.
