Regrettably I'm putting up for sale my mk1 cortina 1500 gt. This is a period car with only 3 previous owners, really nice story and some great history. The car still has steering box which works fine and has been converted to negative earth using mk1 cortina owners parts with an alternator. The car also has a set of superlight alloys which really set the car of. Have only had the car 6 weeks and done some great improvements New Burton Power electronic ignition, oil filter, gearbox oil, diff oil. Had a trimmer restitch passenger seat, drivers seat already has Aldridge seat cover done, I have had centre console recovered to a high standard. Car has an Ashley exhaust. Apart from a few tasteful touches the car is pretty much original. The paint work on this car is far from perfect but certainly not detract from its looks .
