Description
Ford Fiesta - Low Mileage, Reliable Runner, Recently MOT'd
Selling my Ford Fiesta - a dependable, low-mileage car with just one previous owner before me. It's never broken down during my time owning it, and I've consistently kept it in good running condition. The car just passed its MOT this week and has had regular maintenance over the years, including a cam belt replacement around 1-2 years ago (receipt available). I also have the full service history to hand.
Each year I've invested in necessary repairs, so although it's an older vehicle, it drives well and is ready to go. A few minor faults exist due to age - none affecting performance or safety - and I've listed them below for full transparency. Most of my fixes have been to keep the car driving smooth but below you'll notice I haven't had everything that isn't important to the cars reliability fixed.
Key Positives:
Only one previous owner
Low mileage
Very reliable - never broken down during my ownership
Cam belt replaced (1-2 years ago)
Full service history
MOT passed this week
Well maintained and cared for over the years
Will be professionally cleaned inside and out before sale
Things to Note:
Radio currently locked (attempting to fix on July 5th - ad will be updated if resolved)
Reverse lights not working (bulbs replaced; garage advised it's a fixable issue)
Cosmetic bumps on the bodywork (see pictures for detail)
Interior central locking quirk - autolocks trigger when pushing the driver's handle inwards; sometimes the passenger lock doesn't auto-lock with the driver's (intermittent)
Front seat folding levers broken - can still fold seats using the circular adjuster at the base (a bit fiddly but works)
The side mirrors click in 4/5 times when locking the car (but no issue otherwise with functionality). It happens when they go to auto close, but one can set them to stop auto closing to stop this.
Aircon air only works on setting 4 (max) - previously had it fixed but believe a fuse or something else needs changing.
