You have to hand it to those Karmann engineers, they took a cheap basic car, gave it a sporty 1.6 engine, sport suspension, big 16" alloys, a moon roof and cut the roof off and came up with this gem. Don't listen to the Top Gear nonsense, they did that as a jibe towards Hammond, this car is great! Its a hard top in the winter, a pillarless coupe in nice enough days and a convertible in summer! The roof neatly folds into the boot at the touch of a button. This one is in excellent condition, not a hint of rust, there's a hardly noticeable crease at the bottom of the bonnet, but that's really it. It says its a 4 seater, but due to the roof the back seat is only really suitable for children, or one adult. We would keep it if we could afford to have 2 cars.
