Description
This is not your usual car advert, because this isn't just any car that someone has got bored with.
We're selling our late dad's beloved 2005 MG TF 135, 1.8 petrol, manual. Finished in gunmetal grey and with only 6,662 miles on the clock, this is a truly rare example.
Dad was an MG enthusiast and cherished this car, only ever driving it on special occasions. It was always kept in his garage, treated with care, and never thrashed or modified. Sadly, he passed away two years ago, and although we've held onto the car for emotional reasons, we've now reached the point where we're ready to let it go with a heavy heart.
The car is currently stored in a locked garage in Harrogate, where it has been since he passed. It was driven in under its own power, but we haven't started it since - it might start, it might not. It's not taxed or MOT'd. It will likely need a new battery, new tyres (due to age, not wear as all four are currently pretty flat), and a thorough clean. Other than that, it's an untouched, incredibly low-mileage example with a lot of life left to give.
We have two keys and the V5 is present. Viewings are strictly by appointment, and we will arrange for someone to meet you at the garage as we are not local to it.
Please note: this sale is already an emotional one, and the price is set to reflect the car's rare condition and mileage whilst acknowledging it'll need a bit of titivating. We know it's more than fair for such a special car, so we kindly ask that you respect this. You will likely need to arrange transport for it, and this is reflected in the price we're offering it at.
We'd love to see it go to someone who'll appreciate and enjoy it as much as our Dad did.
The private plate is a family one and is sadly, not included.
Please get in touch if you're genuinely interested or have any questions. Thank you.
