Description
Landrover Defender 110 XS - 2013 - 166k - But new engine at 155k - at a cost of over 11,000.
This was due to water ingress into the engine when water came over the bonnet whilst wading through a flooded road. The car is a CAT N (Flood Damage). Nothing else was affected by the incident.
One owner from new. THOUSANDS spent at Lovers Leap garage over the last 12yrs keeping it in very good condition. Lovers Leap have looked after the truck for everything other than the first service, which was done by the supplying LR dealer - Gordon Lamb in Chesterfield.
It's impossible to list all the invoices here as there would be too much information, at least 30 odd invoices, 14 stamps in the book, and it would be fair to say that this Land Rover has had upwards of 40,000 spent on it over the last 12yrs in service, maintenance and paintwork etc. The obvious highlight being the engine replacement at 155k, which was over 11,000 alone. But it's also had a recon gearbox, new clutch kit, new dampers, new A/C Compressor, new starter motor, new EGR valve, DPF recon, new fuel injection pump, new turbo, new injectors, new General Grabber AT3's etc.
The list goes on....
Chassis is excellent, not covered in anything, but as you can see in very good, honest condition.
Blemishes:
Just a little bit of rust in the rear door shuts, a little bit around front screen, a dented rear N/S rear panel, and a slight scuff to the N/S plastic arch. Some wear in the hinges in places, but an easy one to improve upon if so desired, and non of detracts from what is a good-looking example. Just a little bit of time and love to make those areas tip-top.
So, this Defender looks like a real eyeful, with some nice modifications and upgrades, plus a service history that would be hard to better.
Just the one owner, and looked after by the same LR Specialist all the way through.
Metallic black, black seats, upgraded stereo etc etc.
Priced very well at 19,999 - (Being sold on behalf of the owner).
