Reluctant sale of our convertible Mercedes. We have owned this car for 3 and a half years and we now have to sell as the Mrs struggles to get in and out after having leg surgery. It has spent the last year just sat and now is the time to move it on as we do not use it enough to warrant the insurance and tax. It has had a brand new rear sub-frame fitter by Mercedes 2 years ago. Runs lovely and has that pleasant V6 growl. Rare Manual 6 speed box. Everything works as it should the roof is faultless in operation. Bad points that i hope are reflected in the sale price, the alloy wheels are nearly getting ready for a refurbishment, the front wings have the infamous bubbling where the brackets fit at the front. I have and will supply with the car 2 Second hand R171 wings that are in ok condition that i bought in the event of me changing them, it has not bothered me too much and is no detriment to the running. The drivers seat has a very small area about 20mm where the stitching is starting to come undone. The road tax on this year is lower than vehicles a year newer. I have lots of paperwork that comes with the vehicle that shows some prior servicing and i have most of the MOT certs also and the owners manual as supplied when new. Tyre's are in good order with plenty of tread on them.
