We are now a family of 3 and so need to say goodbye to our much loved BMW Z4. We have owned and loved the car for 2 and a half years and as our first convertible we were surprised just how much we drove it with the top down (the heated leather seats helped with that!) The car has been well looked after with all servicing needs met on time, including brake fluid, and a ceramic coating to keep it shiny. The next service is due in a years time and the car had a new battery in November last year. We bought a premium warranty when we got the car which still has 6 months remaining. All tyres have good tread (at least 6mm) and are Bridgestone BMW Star Marked (i.e. the ones BMW specify for this model) We have had the car updated to run Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. (It operates through the built-in screen and BMW iDrive controller, not a stuck on extra screen) We have had great times with this car, it is more practical than it appears, drives smoothly with enough punch for effortless motorway cruises and enough grip that it stays planted even in terrible winter weather. The air con is one of the best I've ever experienced - it's ice cold, so a welcome break from the sun when you put the top up. It's small size makes it easy to manoeuvre and the xenon headlights give great visibility despite being low to the ground. There are some stone chips and marks consistent with age and mileage but overall I feel it's in very good shape and has wanted for nothing during it's time with us.
