The VW Grand California is the bigger brother to the Transporter California. As you would expect from a factory VW conversion, the fit, finish and detail in this VW Crafter based conversion is of the highest standards. Inside, the layout comprises of a full width comfortable bed to the rear, a centre washroom with shower, centre kitchen, forward dinette with swivel seats, and an external shower point for muddy boots, bikes or dogs. The centre section of the rear bed can be raised and the storage end panels can be removed to accommodate long or tall loads, with plenty of storage below the bed. VW have included a number of innovative design details throughout the conversion, including a two part flyscreen for the sliding door and kitchen, dimming ambient lighting, pull out kitchen worksurface and a pull out drawer fridge to save space to name but a few. The Grand California features full dual fuel heating and hot water with onboard tanks and a central systems control panel. The fully lined washroom has a useable shower, tip up vanity sink and toilet with its own venting system. Opposite the washroom is the kitchen with two burner gas hob, pull out fridge and a variety of storage options. Storage throughout the vehicle is excellent with high quality twin aircraft style lockers, cupboards and cubbyholes.
