Description
Sadly, I am selling my Tartan Red 1975 MGB Roadster after 14 years. I bought the car in 2011 following a full nut and bolt restoration (photos and invoices with the car). It has been a love affair and no expense spared to make sure the car looks good and drives really well. So many updates and modifications (call for a chat). Fitted with a Weber 45 DCOE, the Ivor Searle engine starts and drives well with electronic ignition. New alternator, water pump, distributor, coil, stainless exhaust, clutch, fuel pump. Biscuit leather seat and head rest covers, walnut dash and cappings, wood rim wheel, and new leather door cards and centre console waiting to be fitted. MOT'd until March 2026, the car has only been driven in dry weather, and dry stored over winter.
This is not a concours car and has its blemishes and some minor faults but it is a fun drive and very good looking. The mileage is only 4353 as the mileometer was changed after the previous one stopped. The real mileage is unknown but is probably around 80 to 90000. Loads of books and technical info with the car.
