As above, I purchased the car in 2019 and I was never made aware the car had any Categories against it - nothing showed in the check I did. Only recently have I come to realise that there was in fact a CAT N on this car, which as per the below photography on the Salvage Auctions website, appears to be vandalism of the driver side window and panels, which was clearly promptly resolved by the people that purchased from the auction, before being sold to me in 2019. Important here to reiterate what I said above - in all my 5 plus years driving the car daily and adding around 14,000 miles to it, it has been absolutely bulletproof and a great little performer, no problems whatsoever! I want all possible buyers to be aware of the historical issue, but please be assured it is ancient history and has no impact today, has given me no issues getting very cheap insurance and I have also priced cheaply to take this into account. Other similar Smart Cars of this mileage typically sell from 5-6k!
