Description

2011 Volkswagen Polo Match 60, 1.2 litre engine - Ideal runaround! Looking for an economical small car? It's served us well for the past 3 years but we're upgrading to a 4x4 for winter country lanes and something a bit bigger for the family. MOT until May 2026 3 previous owners Petrol Manual Last serviced April 2025 inc. oil change, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs. Condition & Known Points (Honest Appraisal): The car is in fair condition overall, with some minor body imperfections: a few small dents and scratches on the roof and various scratches and rust spots consistent with its age (see pictures). We have used this car regularly for the past three years for the school run and also longer motorway journeys too. The interior of the car is in good condition, some fading of the seat covers in places but otherwise great. Recent MOT Advisories: Slight play in the offside rear front steering rack inner joint. Minor exhaust gas leak from the central front flexi section. Nearside front tyre will need replacing soon. Things to Note: Rough Idle: Sometimes the car experiences a rough idle when first started. This has been present since our ownership and doesn't always happen or affect the running of it. It just sounds sometimes like it might stall to begin with but it doesn't and clears after a few minutes. I have a video I can send prior to viewing. Driver's Door Lock Sensor: There's a failed micro sensor in the driver's side door lock mechanism. While the car locks and unlocks perfectly with the fob and key and doesn't affect the locking, the failed sensor means it can't sense when the door is open, meaning the auto lock feature thinks the door is shut and locks itself after 30 seconds. It just means we have to remember to not leave the key in the car, shut the drivers door and walk away temporarily. Could do with a new lock mechanism in that door - easy job for someone with the right tools. There are two keys - one is on it's last legs though. This car is priced to reflect the points above. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys tinkering or a mechanic to get a very affordable and otherwise sound VW Polo. It will make a great daily driver or first car. Open to sensible offers - viewings available daytime or evening in Hawkhurst.
