Summary An excellent example of the rarer and more powerful Porsche 944s in guards red. This car was restored by the previous owner (Villiers Classics) and I have spared no expense in continuing this restoration work (see below), ensuring that every common area of fault has been addressed. The car runs and drives brilliantly, and has never let me down. It has been driven consistently over the last four years (average 2000 miles a year), and has been dry stored over the winters. The Porsche 944 S represents a significant upgrade over the standard 944, featuring a high-revving 2.5L 16-valve DOHC engine producing 190 bhp a notable increase from the base model's 150 bhp. This twin-cam setup delivers sharper throttle response and improved performance, with 0-60 mph achieved in around 6.5 seconds, nearly a full second quicker than the standard car.
