Description

A solid example of the iconic Defender TD5. Registered in 2004 and showing just 93, 000 miles, this pickup has plenty of life left and is ready for work or weekend adventures. The 2. 5L five-cylinder turbo diesel engine pulls strong, with the characteristic TD5 sound and dependable torque. Drives well for its age, with no known mechanical issues. Chassis is solid, and the body is in good condition overall a few age-related marks and imperfections as expected, but nothing major. Please refer to the pictures for sections of the paint where the lacquer has failed. Interior is clean and functional, and fitted with Lucari sports seats and a matching Exmoor Trim cubby. It also has the original security etched glass to match the number plate, as it was off the line. A well maintained honest Defender that turns heads and gets the job done. Ideal for Land Rover enthusiasts, farm use, or as a base for further customisation. I bought it 2 years ago and have used it predominantly for driving to the beach with a surfboard in the back, and it's also done a couple of longer journeys up the motorway. I've put around 10, 000 miles on it in the last 2 years. Condition notes: - Paint lacquer failing in some places (pictured) - Dinged the rear cross member, but it's been treated and painted and showing no signs of corrosion (pictured) Work carried out myself: - Front radius arm bushes and stainless bolt kit - Genuine Land Rover Door Seals - Genuine Land Rover exterior window waist seals - Stainless vent pins and new foam seals - YRM windscreen to bulkhead seal and YRM truck-cab seal - Dynamat throughout the cab - Stainless steel floor plate, seatbox and gearbox tunnel fixings - Gwyn Lewis front arch mud flap extensions - Driver and passenger barrel locks - Upgraded (sealed) injector harness and genuine rocker cover gasket - ECU rebuild (with lifetime warranty) - Steering damper - Stainless window blocks and gaskets Extras not fitted by me, but worth noting: - Demand stainless steel exhaust system - which sounds very lovely! - Lucari sports seats and matching Exmoor Trim Cubby - EGR blanking - Masai Steps MOT until December 2025 with no advisories. 1 full size spare wheel which has never been used. This is my first Defender and I've loved having it - selling because I bought another one and don't have space for 2. Pictured without number plates as I had a private ones fitted, and waiting for the new ones to arrive along with the updated V5C from the DVLA (YL04 KTD
