After 7 plus years of ownership I have finally decided to sell my Mini Cooper S Checkmate over the period of ownership I have spent over 12 thousand pounds in maintenance and tasteful mods. Only selling as car does not get driven enough and would like to get a family car and im nearly 50. Car was was MOTd on the 19/07/2025 And passed. The only advisory was the suspension springs are slightly corroded. The very slight oil leak from the previous MOT advisory has now been repaired. Mileage is currently 101,647 The car is over 20 years old so there is the odd stone chip and small mark. Body work is very good for age. All of of the usual rust points (Tailgate handle under back light) have been repaired/welded and painted. The car is ready to go and does not need anything. It has been serviced regularly and has been garaged for the entire time of my ownership. The car comes with two big folders of history and receipts including the all the original manuals a stamped history book with two keys (one is a year old) . Most of the work has been carried out SRR Racing and 1320 mini and other BMW Mini Specialists and smaller jobs by myself. Car has only covered 12,000 miles in my ownership and only gets driven at the weekends or when the weather is nice. Never been on a track or ragged. Oil is always warmed up. No knocking, tapping or squealing noises. No smoke from cold. Smooth gear change as expected from the fantastic gearbox and new clutch. Car drives spot on and pulls very well through the gears. Any MOT advisories have been resolved there and then Modifications (fitted new) most recent Brand new 17 inch unmarked Gold Italian Ultra lightweight racing wheels with Toyo Proxes 6mm plus recent wheel 4 wheel alignment. Catcam 469 and 550 Bosch injectors fitted by 1320 mini along with a custom bytronic map set up on the 1320 Rolling Road with a very healthy 231 at the flywheel (see picture). The 469 cam is more of an aggressive profile compared to the 461 and idles a bit lumpy from cold. 1320 also did a leak down test and said the engine is in very good condition for mileage and age.
