Description
Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.2 - Manual - 2016 (66 Plate) - PAC Tuned - 191k Miles
Registration AK66 GXF - private reg removes.
This truck has been a rock-solid, reliable workhorse and has never let me down. I'm only parting with it as I've sold my race car, which this was mainly used to tow.
It's been regularly maintained and had numerous parts replaced as you would expect, with proof of the PAC tuning included.
I recently completed an 800-mile round trip (North West Kent South Wales NW) - It didn't miss a beat averaging 35mpg and I wasn't hanging around!
Here's a detailed breakdown of the points I can think of:
- Windscreen replaced - 2025 (chipped, and the heated element wasn't great)
- Front spring replaced - 2025 (snapped spring - prone issue)
- Drop links replaced - 2025 (in conjunction with above whilst at it)
- A rear shock replaced - 2025 (started to leak)
- Thermostat replaced - 2025 (to improve inner cab heat in winter)
- Washer jets replaced - 2025
- Centre driveshaft (prop) dampener replaced - 2024 (started to make a noise)
- Front brake Pads - 2024
- Original stereo upgraded - 2023 (Amp stopped working, bought one from a breakers)
- Al-Ko tow hitch fitted - 2023 (to allow towing a trailer with stabilising)
- Rear lights replaced - 2023 (started to collect water)
- PAC Tuned - 2022 (originally felt sluggish towing when I bought it, Peter sorted that out with a tune!)
- Oil & filter changed every 5k miles using Bosch filters and Millers 5/30 oil - done by me, religiously. No oil usage or leaks.
- Service book stamped pre my ownership - see image. Timing chain replaced by previous owner - see image
- Original rear roller shutter with keys
- Hardwired front and rear mirror dash cam
Negative points:
- Front bumper slightly misaligned to the front wings - Hasn't bothered me and doesn't affect functionality, just being honest.
- Rear bumper slightly pushed in - I reversed into a bollard. Likely just needs bracket adjustment.
- Driver's seat bolster has the usual wear/tear, passenger just starting - fabric split, as expected on these.
This has been PAC tuned so it doesn't have adblue challenges which is a bonus, and it now has more umph! Probably still on original clutch, it's still going strong!
MOT History:
Dec 2024 - 184k
Dec 2023 - 176k
Dec 2022 - 167k (I purchased the vehicle in spring of 2022, hence the slow down in annual miles)
Dec 2021 - 158k
Nov 2020 - 128k
Nov 2019 - 96k
Cheers
