In my ownership I have carried out an extensive list of modifications to fix what is a rather poor vehicle from factory as BMW put a big engine in and stopped there.. with this vehicle most of the budget has gone under the car rather than styling mods, though I've done some of those too! The rear subframe has been made similar to that of its bigger brother M cars, there are no bushes to cause a floaty feeling, these have been replaced with Millway solid metal subframe bushes, paired with powerflex black diff mounts to further reduce the floatiness present in stock cars. In addition to this, H+R anti roll bars front and rear are present with a BMW underbody brace and UltraRacing engine brace. For suspension Bilstein's B14 height adjustable coilovers are fitted with adjustable top mounts currently set at approximately -2.5 degrees of camber as set up by Swift Performance's fast road setup. Up front are Millway solid metal control arm bushes to help counteract front end floatiness. Power-wise the car is fitted with an MOT compliant sports catalyst, uprated panel filter + bigger intake hose, high flow Cobra Sport mid pipe, TU (Supra) fuel pump and MHD's stage2+ tune generating on average around 480hp which really puts you back in your seat! The power is complimented by XHP Stage 3 gearbox tune giving very responsive shifting when wanted, and standard comfortable driving when in eco mode. Helping you stop are Ferodo DS2500 brake pads, HEL braided lines and RBF660 brake fluid. The callipers were professionally refurbished last year in Porsche yellow and look great against the OZ Racing HLT silver wheels. For styling the car is fitted with 3.5" exhaust tips, Maxton rear spoiler and rear diffuser, AutoID M mirror caps, OG M2 style front bumper with Magna Plates underneath, you'll need your own plate side magnets however. Inside the car is a genuine M2 CS steering wheel with M2 paddles an M1 + M2 buttons coded to change drive modes without even removing your hands from the wheel.
