Hi, I'm selling this vehicle on behalf of my mother in law due to her serious ill health. She only drove it for short, local journeys, hence the low mileage for its age. I have driven it and it drives beautifully. She recently had repairs done to pass another New MOT, valid till 11/07/2026 . The car had been sitting around, undriven for many months, and not used, so a reluctant decision to sell to someone who will get fun out of it. It has fully functioning electric roof, all the standard factory, radio, heater, switches, etc work. She has always looked after the car, but wasn't the best at parking, so there are a few scrapes on the wheels. It also has a slightly deformed bumper at rear drivers side. There is evidence of fading lacquer on passenger side rear wheel arch. The drivers door card seems like a clip may have broken, but remains in position OK. And finally, the electric window switch on drivers door can be intermittent, however the master switch for all the windows simultaneously , works perfectly. All the windows work fine when roof is lowered and raised automatically also. I have tried to show any paintwork defects in the pictures, some surface rust, where paint got scraped off. I could have touched this up, but wanted an honest sale, as not my car. All in all , this will make a fantastic, first time drivers car, or beetle enthusiast . The car looks smart, even with the minor defects, and ready to drive away. I feel the price is fair for the condition and low mileage of the car, and have taken all this into consideration with the price. I am not interested in selling to traders, unless you are offering the price I'm selling at. Thank you.
