These still feel like great cars to drive..... !!!.. This 5 speed 1.8 "Si" Escort Cabriolet has just arrived with us.....Its been parked up in a local elderly couples garage for a number of years ....Cosmetically its really not that bad ..you'll definitely need an afternoon with the T Cut and Turtle Wax for sure...you WILL undoubtedly find age related marks/scratches... we would NEVER describe any used car as being "immaculate" or "mint" or any of those other silly words that people tend to use... NO issues with the drive of the car.....Its actually really good fun ! Best way to deal with this one is to treat it as a project....You'll always find something to do....we have had the car MOT,d so we know its safe and fit for purpose...There are bits and pieces of service history...Certainly lots of MOT certificates so we can safely say that the mileage is genuine.
