Middlehurst Road Race & Classic present this 1998/R registration, official UK specification Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec (Series 3) finished in Sonic Silver (KR4) with grey cloth interior. This is 1 of the 100 UK cars that we supplied new from our Nissan dealership (Middlehurst Motorsport) and has formed part of our own personal collection since we purchased it back from the original owners in 2015. Middlehurst Motorsport were the only authorised dealer in the UK and supplied every single UK specification R33 and R34 GT-R, endorsed by Nissan Motor Company GB. It is in our opinion the most original and well preserved UK specification example left in existence. The paintwork is 100% original and it is completely unrestored throughout. Mechanically it is totally standard, it has never been modified, was always stored in a heated garage by the previous owners and since we acquired back it has been in stored inside our dealership showrooms and used on few occasions in order to preserve it as much as possible. The differences between standard 'grey imports' and official UK specification at the time were as follows: MPH speedometer cluster, halogen headlamps, 'E' marked glass, UK stereo head unit, Thatcham category 1 alarm/immobiliser, engine oil cooler, differential cooler, gearbox cooler, transfer cooler. Fully SVA tested (singly type approved). The history file is extremely extensive, with two service books present as the first one was completely full. We have maintained this car from the moment it left our showroom in 1998 for Mr & Mrs Barnett. The 3 owners in total consists of husband & wife Mr & Mrs Barnett and ourselves. This car really has to be seen to be appreciated, the interior presents (even smells) as new and it still adorns its original Middlehurst Motorsport rear window sticker, tax disc holder etc. (N1 SMO private registration number now retained and sold).
