For sale is my 2006 BMW Z4M with 125,000 miles I purchased the car about 15 months ago and have done around 2000 miles. It has extensive service history, has had the rod bearings done in 2020, along with Bilstein B12 suspension. Features include heated leather seats, Auto Xenon headlights, Bluetooth audio. It had an Inspection 2 last year, during which it was highlighted that the cams and followers in the engine have more than normal wear. This wasn't a problem but I was told to keep an eye on it. Last month I had the cams and followers replaced with a good set of clean, used parts, the head gasket replaced (as the head was off anyway), and the vanos replaced with a refurbished unit from Hack Engineering. I have only driven it about 20 miles since this happened before giving it back to the specialist to take a look at as I heard a noise I wasn't happy with. He has diagnosed it as likely a slightly worn follower and unfortunately the only way to fix it is to remove the head again, something that I can't afford to do again. I have another full set of followers that will come with the car. This means I'm having to sell the car to someone that has the time and skills to fix it. Otherwise, the engine is very healthy and runs very smoothly as confirmed by the BMW specialist which is where the car currently resides Bodywork wise, it has some stone chips and age related marks as would be expected for the age. The rear brakes are pretty new, whereas the fronts are going to need replacement in the near future. They passed the MOT fine but they are getting a bit low. All tyres are getting low and will need replacing in the near future. MOT until April 2026, the only advisory was the tyres. Let me know if you have any questions
