SPARES OR REPAIRS: 2009 Audi A3 8PA 2.0 tfsi DSG quattro. Good points:- - Decent sought after wheels with tyres (wheels worth about 300 on their own - some curb scuffs). All-season Goodyear tyres with around 5mm tread on all 4 tyres. - Only 84k on the clock. - Many new parts fitted recently. Including new brake discs and calipers all round, Lamba sensor, PCV valve, oil sensor, various oil seals (see receipts for more details) - Good interior (all except glovebox hinge). - Decent panels with some age related marks (O/S/F wing has rust on arch - see pic) . - Full service history. - MOT'd for 6 months. - Private plate comes with the car. - Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB touchscreen Appleplay/Android carplay entertainment system. - Original Audi stereo comes with the car. - 2 keys but 1 needs a new battery. Bad points:- - Stretched timing chain (can't be started and will need new timing chains and pretensioners). - Slight oil leak from timing chain cover. - 4 wheel drive Haldex unit doesn't work (Haldex repairs cost around 200). - Rear suspension arms are rusty (not noted on current MOT though). - Clutch flywheel has slight wear and might need changing. - Glove box broken. - Slight rusting to O/S/F wheel arch. As mentioned, the car won't start, so you'll need a recovery van or trailer. Currently SORN so will need taxing if keeping on the road.
