Description

My Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy is a rare limited-production hot hatch. It is powered by a naturally aspirated F4R 2.0-litre inline-four, producing 182bhp and driving the front wheels via a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission. First registered in August 2005, it is one of only 500 UK-market examples produced; The Clio 182 Trophy was produced as a special-edition run-out model, which featured the rear spoiler from the Clio V6, it has the sophisticated Sachs remote reservoir dampers which are brand new and have been safely stored until fitted specially for this trophy, lightweight Speedline Turini alloy wheels, lowered Recaro Trendline front bucket seats and a unique numbered plaque, which confirms this car as number 142 of 500 The specification includes a built-in CD stereo, air conditioning, a multifunction steering wheel, aluminium pedals, electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors and a heated rear screen. Accompanying the car is the original owner's handbook, the car's service book record with all invoices for services dating back to 2014. The most recent MOT test took place on 23 May 2025 at 103,768 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no advisories. The car benefits from a Full service history. The latest service was carried out in May 2025 where the Cambelt kit was replaced, Dephaser pulley replaced, Auxiliary belt kit replaced, New water pump, engine Oil service with all new filters. In addition the Engine bay was refreshed. This included the following; vapour blasted rocker cover, inlet manifold, cambelt cover, engine mount, alternator brackets including rail guard, Re sealed rocker cover, new cam seals, Powder coated ecu bracket and cover, air box brackets and engine hoist points. All work carried out by Renault specialist AWMotorworks. Prior to this in November 2023 the Gear box oil was serviced, Spark plugs changed, Engine oil serviced and all filters replaced. Brake fluid service and Coolant replaced. During this time the car went through a full underbody restoration re galvanising subframes rear beams and protecting the whole underbody of car. While this was done all parts were replaced including nuts and bolts. Overall the car has been fully restored with no expense spared. Once I had completed the full restoration I then had the car fully stripped back and resprayed in the original capsicum red. All new genuine badges and trophy decals. This is now in perfect brand new condition with not a mark to be seen.
