After a long time hunting, this car came up three years ago with sensible milage and with the right factory specification. The previous owner inherited the car from their father, and then owned it for 10 years. Upon purchase, the original boost pipes were replaced with upgraded silicone hoses and the EGT sensors were also changed - mitigating against the running issues that can plague these engines. The front suspension was also refreshed, with new lower control arms, ball joints and bushes. I also changed the cam, auxiliary belt and thermostat The engine doesn't burn oil, pulls smoothly throughout the rev-range, and feels strong. I have ensured that every service has been done within 5000 miles - which is backed up in the thick wad of paperwork, dating back from new. The interior wears its age well, with the Recaro seats receiving regular leather treatment, and the bolsters holding firm. The dashboard is in good condition and is free of scratches. The not so good: There's a very small hole in the driver's seat (about 3mm). For a 26-year-old car, the bodywork is very good, however there are some small marks to the paint (which have been pictured). The air-conditioning doesn't work.
