Daily driver, excellent runner, Lots of low down torque, real pleasure to drive especially on the motorway where it feels like a much bigger car. 550+ miles to the tankful. Meticulously maintained mechanically, services every year with full service history including recent lower control arms, front and rear drop links and springs. Recent front brake pads and discs, new clutch and dual mass flywheel. MOT until Nov 2025 but will need 200 worth of welding to the nearside sill to pass the next MOT. Would keep and repair myself but I've bought another MK5 Golf (they are brilliant cars) which is petrol and lower mileage so don't have need for two.
