1991 MK1 MX5 Eunos (1.6 Import)
1991 MK1 Eunos Roadster (Japanese import)
It's been dry stored throughout my ownership.
MOT passed in May with no advisories and a full service carried out.
Imported and registered in 2002.
The car is currently sat on 194,500 KM (close to 121,000 miles) and will increase as I use it. (MOTs have been recorded in KM and Miles annoyingly...)
In its lifetime it has had -
New sills professionally welded and resprayed with stone chip paint in british racing green.
Brand new soft top.
Full rust protection underspray.
In July 2024 it had -
Timing belt replaced
Water pump replaced
Auxiliary belt replaced
Full silicone hose kit installed
Modifications -
MeisterR Sportive Coilovers.
Upgraded HT Leads
NGK Iridium spark plugs
5mm Spacers.
RAMAIR Intake.
All new speakers (Headrest and door card).
Japspeed silenced decat (This will still pass the MOT due to it being a 1991 import, just need to show the MOT garage documents)
Malian exhaust. (Very loud but sounds great)
Intake lights with sidelights / indicators.
Square front plate with side mount.
Custom steering wheel.
New headlight units and bulbs.
Autostar Roulette alloys with Proxes TR1's (Almost new)
The good bits -
The cars paint work is extremely good and shines up amazingly with a clean.
All paperwork and service history.
Rust free underneath + Rust protection spray.
Soft top in great condition and is water tight.
Once up to operating temp the engine runs perfectly.
Gearbox is spot on.
MOT Till May 2026 with no advisories.
Real head turner.
Issues -
The cars cold start can sometimes be rough, after 20 seconds the idle sorts itself and it runs perfect.
