Description
Selling my Porsche 997. I've had it for just over two years and love it. Selling due to wanting something a little cheaper to run (upcoming new job/ commute) and more family friendly. It's my daily driver and has never missed a beat.
Have all receipts dating back to original bill of sale.
MOT due April 2026
Needs a new o/s condenser for the AC to work- I just put the roof down.
Interior is tidy, there is a small tear on the drivers seat and there's the wear you'd expect from a 19 year old car. Rear seats are, of course, pretty much untouched. Original stereo with CD changer in the front- if you should have any CDs.
You're going to ask about borescore:
It only affects 5-10% of these engines and declares itself by 100,000 miles.
No knocking/ tapping, no smoke on start up, no excessive oil consumption.
The car never does short journeys and I always warm it up properly before pushing on (below 3000rpm until oil temp is above 90).
I'd wanted a 911 since I was a kid and this hasn't disappointed. I love it and it makes me smile. Unfortunately the rest of the family don't agree and the joy of going out is somewhat diminished by going solo, so after two really fun years it's time to sell it on.
I'm obviously very happy for you to come and have a look and I'll take us out for a drive. Having sold other high-ish performance cars I won't be allowing test drives as insurance is tricky and some people come just to thrash your car.
If you have any questions I'll do my best to answer. I work shifts so may not get to your question immediately.
