I have owned this car since 2017. It was driven regularly in the first 3 years but since Lockdown (which coincided with the birth of my son) it has been driven very little - often just to keep the battery charged. Over the years I have replaced various parts - mainly general stuff on the underside due to age eg brakes, suspension springs and a suspension arm. The biggest job was part of the subframe, which was removed, repaired and recoated a few years ago (I have pictures). The exhaust was replaced last year and more recently a drive shaft. The engine in this car has always been good. It has some corrosion around the wheel arches and a couple of chips, and at some point in the past the driver's side was grazed but it is not deep. The new exhaust is (in the words of the mechanic who fitted it) more throaty than the original - he liked it although it is an acquired taste as it is noisier than the original. I love this car - the Brera is a rare beauty in these days of motoring blandness - but I do not have the skills or time to give it the TLC it deserves. The MOT is due soon and I believe it will require 2 new tyres. If I end up MOTing her before sale I will increase the price as I am aware this is an increasingly rare modern classic. She's an old beast with niggles here and there, but a lovely - and special - machine.
