1974 Land Rover Series III Sort wheel base 2-1/4 petrol. MOT and TAX Exempt I have owned it for 7 years and carried out a lot of work to it, and have receipts to show the parts fitted. I have used it weekly over the 7 years and it starts and drives well with everything in working order. The chassis is solid and in good condition. A galvanized rear cross member was fitted a few years ago. The bulkhead is in good condition with a number of repair panels fitted. Below is a list of some of the new parts fitted over the years- Brake Linings and wheel cylinders, Petrol tank, Rear Shock Absorbers, both Door tops, Electronic Ignition Distributor, Weber Carburettor, Water Pump, Radiator and Hoses. Brake and Clutch Master Cylinders, Clutch Slave Cylinder, front and rear Prop Shaft. Newly Refurbished Engine with a re-bore and new pistons , as well as a fully refurbished Cylinder Head. New Standard Bearings fitted on Crankshaft and Con rods. New Clutch, pressure plate and Release Bearing fitted . Lots of paperwork and receipts available for viewing. Chassis has been recently treated with Lanoguard.
