Description
Have my suzuki swift for sell, 1.3 petrol. Its a family owned car and is very taken off over the years, also a very fast and nippy/stylish little run around. Originally listed elsewhere but had quite a few people messing my about so thought to try to sell here to more genuine people.
Now for a breakdown of pros and cons
The Good bits
- It is of relatively low miles for age (and priced low for age too!)
- New clutch fitted in last November only a couple of thousands miles ago (by family mechanic, a 400 quid job)
- Full fresh service done last november with clutch, both engine and gearbox service done
- special wheels is on the swift which costed 350 quid brand new, it does make it stand out and the car often went to car shows in the past
- it has custom flash red floor mats seat + seat cover + seat belt cover
- we also added side driver door rain guards + tinted the rear windows
- it drives absolutely mechanically spot with no overheating or other issues,
- It gets about over 50mpg on the motorway, and 40s in the cities and is great on fuel (done a couple trips from Bristol to York and have verified this!)
- it is also ulez and very cheap to insure, being the 1.3 petrol
- suspension is tight with no knock and bangs, tyres are of very good thread
- No oil/water leaks anywhere
- All buttons and electrics works as they should and no gremlins
- It has decent MOT until August 2025, and will pass another easily
The quirks (and we know most of it - it being within the family)
- It needs a front passenger wheel speed sensor which is causing the abs light to be on, this also causes a slight judder when braking, about 20 quid ebay part (brake disc and pads are fine) update the judder got a but worse hence reduced price
- t has a bit of rust on driver side rear near bumper
- it also have a slight exhaust blow and we have brought some sealant for it to patch although due to upgrading it was not used on it
- the srs light on and we were told it is a fuse that needs replacing
I'd ideally like to sell it with the bespoke alloys or can do it with with steelies and keep the alloys for a bit less, prob an ideal car for first time drivers (due to low insurance)!
Overall it is a well loved/tidy car needs a new home, I have priced these in, currently using a diesel for long commutes so this isn't used.
Note: quite busy with work in office alot of the times so if you can't call through drop me an email instead as I check them quite often and will reply
