Description

For sale is my 1992 BMW E30 Touring finished in Lazer Blue with a full 325i conversion. The original 1.8 engine was removed and in its place is now an E30 2.5 M20 engine from a 325i. The engine has 2,000 miles less on it than the car (removed from E591 ENK- 104,000 miles), so almost identical mileage which is nice. The gearbox, differential and antiroll bars have also been changed to suit the more powerful engine. As well as this, the car benefits from: Eibach 30mm lowering springs Polybushed rear subframe and diff mount K&N panel filter New drop links Set of 17 inch staggered BBS replica wheels Full set of HEL performance braided brake lines Stainless exhaust system (it is loud mind) New handbrake cables Electric mirrors, windows and sunroof, all fully functional Being a touring, it also has rear disc brakes Interior wise, it is pretty tidy. The drivers seat remains in good condition with no rips or tears, and the headlining has been retrimmed and isnt sagging at the rear like usual. There are a few marks here and there, but for a car that is now 30+ years old it is in good nick. In terms of bodywork, there is minimal rust with only one spot appearing at the lower corner of the passenger door. The lazer blue paint comes up lovely and still presents very well, turning purple-y in the sun which looks wicked. There are a few scratches and dents, all of which if you're fussy im sure can be sorted easily by a professional. It has nearly a full years MOT having passed in July with only two advisories, both of which have now been sorted. There are still a few little bits that need sorting to make perfect: -The central locking doesnt work, a new module is on its way and included in the sale -Rev gauge doesnt work, all other gauges work fine -If i were keeping it, i would be wanting to quieten down the exhaust. Overall though, for a 30 year old car its in great condition. It wont win any shows, but is definitely presentable and gets quite a few compliments. Such a fun little car, however space is needed for the next one! Full service history, nearly a years MOT Viewing is more than welcome and encouraged- located just outside of Wellington in Somerset. Happy to send plenty more pictures/ videos- just get in touch Cheers
