Rolling running restoration project. This is one of the earliest Porsche 944's on UK roads registered 1st May 1982 registered as historic so now MOT and Tax exempt. This is non PAS square dash with very rare Porsche script door panels not seen in other years. It was subject to a restoration when it was based on the Isle of Wight. Service history has been lost somewhere in the past 43 years, have been going through the various issues and have put a lot of time and effort into sorting many - all locks now work, electric windows and heater etc . New water pump and timing belt - engine can be heard running. Still to do - Drivers seat will need recovering in correct fabric and ideally bonnet will require a repaint, alternator light now stays on and tachometer temperamental - works when it feels like it! Also has a lower balance shaft oil leak currently (very common) Am losing my storage shortly, so need to sell as the car needs to be preserved, would be good for a keen mechanical enthusiast or even as part of a static collection. Obviously the price is reflective of overall condition, suggest trailering away before doing any long journey in it.
