Honda Insight ZE1 hybrid coupe. This is a legendary car, built alongside the NSX and launched to shape the future of mobility. There are loads of articles about it on the web, and I'm sure I will regret selling. Owned since 2021, this tidy and shiny red example has had a new battery and a replacement combustion engine (c.80k miles ago). I see 90+ miles per gallon on almost every trip, the lean burn super-cruise and self-charging works perfectly and the electric motor pulls well. Really fun to drive and ultra-light. Lifetime average economy over 200k miles is 78mpg! ZERO tax, so incredibly cheap to run. Supplied with Peter Perkins grid charger (installed at the same time as the battery). Full LED headlight conversion, Sony double-DIN CarPlay / Android Auto unit, nice leather steering wheel from an S2000. JDM original mats and an Insight original cargo net. Running on slightly wider Civic wheels with Nokian winter tyres, GAZ adjustable rear shocks. Original Magnesium wheels are included. Maintenance record and useful spares included (including new brake discs and some very rare Honda clips), see pictures. Running original catalytic convertor. AC blows nice and cold, heater works great. "Star Trek" dash also works perfectly - see pictures. With a few age-related marks, this is an example that has been driven and well-maintained - recent work includes full service, rear engine mount and new rear hard brake lines . Headliner has minor damage I was planning to fix and there are some stone chips to the aluminium bonnet. No corrosion of note and no damage - still gleams in the sun! Will be sold with fresh MOT.
