The car is in show condition and always garaged. It is declared SORN for 6 months of the year and only used in the summer on dry days.
Before being stored the oil is changed, so it never sat with used oil in the engine.
I've owned the car for the last 11 years and have covered only 6000 miles in this time (due to the British weather mainly). The car has been over-serviced, with annual oil changes and services carried out to the Porsche recommended schedule by JZM Porsche.
The only MOT advisory I've ever had was for tyres, which have now been replaced with Michelin Pilot Super Sports all round. The rears have covered just over 1000 miles and fronts have loads of tread.
The paintwork is immaculate, with no chips or scratches and has been ceramic coated.
The 19" Sport Design alloys have been refinished in Porsche Satin Platinum, with matching colour crest centre badges. The wheels have no scuffs or scrapes.
When buying this car it was the interior that sold it to me. The soft touch plastics are easily scratched, but everything in this car is immaculate. The steering wheel was retrimmed, with a thicker diameter, thumb pads, red top centre stripe and a combination of napa and perforated leather, and still looks new.
The engine has been detailed and painted, which is visible through the clear engine cover. This was imported from the US, so a unique feature in the UK.
This gets a lot of compliments!
This is slightly noisier in the cabin, so I have kept the original metal cover and soundproofing/carpet for longer journeys. Although I quite like the sound.
The front lower lights have been changed to LED lights spars and grilles to protect the rads and condensers. The rear lights have been upgraded to LED. All original parts are available if you want to revert it.
After a lot of research, the exhaust was sent to Carnewal in Belgium to have the internals reworked, so it sounds amazing, with no drone at all.
The air con condensers and pipes have recently been replaced, so the air con is lovely and cold. Quite a rarity in a 987 I'm told, due to the expense of fixing it.
It's hard to show in the photos how good the condition of this car is.
Everything on it works perfectly and, as my pride and joy weekend car, it has wanted for nothing.
