1984 TVR Tasmin This is a rather unique example of a 280i Tasmin wedge, from the black and gold JPS themed paintwork to the 2.9 Ford Cosworth 24v Quad Cam V6 producing 200+bhp with a really sublime exhaust note through virtually straight through pipes! Fast and very loud. Subject to a rebuild around 2008-10, the seats have been re-upholstered with Alcantara type inserts complimented by a black and yellow interior finish with bespoke dash and instrumentation. A fly-off handbrake with brake line lock and wood rimmed steering wheel complete the cabin look. To help manoeuvring at slow speed electric power steering is fitted. Front brakes have been uprated to 4 pot calipers with brake proportioning valve and new rear inboard calipers were fitted last year. The jaguar rear differential was rebuilt last year with new bearings and seals and a new ATB LSD. The prop and drive shafts were rebuilt at the same time, with new rear wheel bearings and bushes all-round to suspension. Lots more has been done and most bills and MOT's are contained in an extensive "leather look" TVR history file. The chassis is in great shape and new tyres have been fitted all round. The car is now tax and mot exempt but has a new mot till August 2026 for peace of mind. Current mileage shows 1500
