I have invested in various mechanical repairs/replacements, over-serviced, washed (including undercarriage) after every winter trip, keep the RPM low when the engine is cold, only using high octane (99) fuel. It's been kept under a cover by me and the previous owner for much of the time. Most of the mileage I have put on is done (sadly) on motorways.
