Description
This beautiful car has been in the family since 1976 (when it was less than 3 years old having been registered in 1973). Aside from a brief period off the road in the mid-nineties, it has been regularly maintained and serviced with a full history and annual MOT.
In 2017, the car was rebuilt by a classic car specialist in Sussex. I have a detailed account of the work carried out, together with an itemised breakdown of parts and labour. Whilst extensive, the work was purely mechanical and engine related. Rust prevention measures were also carried out on the chassis, however the paintwork and interior was not addressed and there are small signs of bodywork rust and cosmetic wear as a result. (See close up pictures). Mechanically the car is sound and has undergone regular servicing and annual MOTs.
A tow bar was fitted in the early nineties but there have been no other modifications to my knowledge. A lead additive is required when filling the tank with unleaded fuel since classic cars would have required leaded fuel when built. The tyres were replaced recently and have plenty of wear left.
I have an archive of paperwork detailing work carried out during the lifetime of the vehicle. I am happy to answer any questions and discuss a viewing/test drive for any serious buyers.
