A very reluctant sale of our very highly specified V40 D4 R Design Pro Auto. We are the 3rd & 4th owners (partner previously owned it). Being the twin turbo D4 with 8 speed auto, it drives beautifully, yet it's only 20 tax. The Pro spec includes nappa leather, dual zone climate, privacy glass, DAB and a Sensus sat nav system with lifetime updates, which was last updated in April. Being a modern Volvo, it also has the full suite of safety systems including emergency auto braking with pedestrian detection. It has a full Volvo service history until the last minor service carried out this month (Volvo oil/filter). Major service items (Volvo fuel filter) have been replaced by our local garage every two years and Air/Cabin filters replaced by myself at the same time. Rear pads have been changed, a new EXIDE AGM battery was fitted late last year and the brake fluid was changed at the same time. 2 x Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric were fitted to the front a few hundred miles ago, whilst the Michelin Primacy tyres on the rear have plenty of life left. At just over 62k miles, it's significantly lower mileage than the 108k national average for a 2016 model. The condition is excellent but commensurate with age/mileage with a few stone chips and light corrosion to 1 x alloy wheel. The interior is immaculate including winter/summer mats plus boot carpet. Neither of us are smokers. We absolutely love the V40 and are very reluctant to sell as it has been faultless (plus that spec!) but having had access to my partners PHEV for a year (the V40s replacement) with a Type 2 charger at home and cheap overnight electric, we've reluctantly agreed it now makes sense to replace the V40 with something electric, especially given my now low annual mileage.
