Description
Here is my 3 door, Manual, Estoril Blue M140i for sale, it's the cleanest example you will find for south of 15k.
I've owned the car for 1 year 2 months, and if I had the means to I would definitely keep it. But since I bought it I have been able to aquire another car to take on the work miles, and thus I have decided that as the M140i has now become a weekend toy, I want to replace it with something even more raw and driver focused, such as a Lotus.
In terms of maintence, the car has been well looked after throughout it's life, it's got full service history, the intervals are as follows:
2018/09 - 14,471 (Independent)
2020/01 - 29,246 (BMW) Minor
2022/02 - 38,275 (BMW) Major
2024/03 - 52,464 (Specialist) Minor
2025/04 - 65,102 (Independent) Major - not on iDrive
The brake pads were last changed 01/02/2025 with Ferodo DS2500.
The rear tyres were replaced 18/11/2024 with Michelin Pilot Sport 5
The front tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4, I don't have a date for those as they were changed by the previous owner, but the tread is still plentiful
On 18/06/2025 the car received a brand new Charge Cooler Radiator, as I unfortunately had a stone pierce the original one. With that in mind I decided to upgrade to an Airtec unit as it has far superior cooling and protection from stones.
In 01/2025 I replaced the standard suspension setup with Bilstein B16 PSS10 two way adjustable coilovers, and lower control arms from the F80 M3. This has vastly improved the car's handling whilst also improving the ride quality. I'm happy to have this removed if the buyer wishes but I would recommend keeping it on!
The exhaust setup is a BAF Performance back box mod, with a double resonator removal. It sounds fantastic, passes emissions and doesn't drone at all.
Another nice upgrade which I have made is the genuine M Performance Carbon gear knob and alcantara shift boot, this is an expensive item which really improves the feel of shifting gears!
Car is HPI clear of course, the only niggle is the scuff on the rear quarter which I kindly recieved from a Nissan Duke struggling to park, fortunately this can be sorted easily.
The alloys are all in good condition, with the exception of the odd stone chip and minor kerb scratches on the rear driver side.
I will leave it up to the buyer if they would rather negotiate and source a repair themselves, or I can get them repaired before sale.
I think that covers everything, if you have any questions feel free to call me.
