Description

1996 Aston Martin DB7 Auto Priced for a quick sale - a VERY low milage version of a thoroughbred British iconic classic sports car. The DB7 is still one of the best-looking cars on the road and is a glorious GT, equally at home driving across continents, fast country roads or in town. There's plenty of style and luxury in the DB7, and plenty of available performance from the 335 BHP supercharged straight-six 3.2 litre engine with a nicely balanced chassis and ride. Today good examples are becoming increasingly attractive to collectors and motoring enthusiasts for good reason. Finished in Chiltern Green metallic with Parchment hide interior piped in green with matching green top dash roll, this is the most timeless of all the colour combinations offered, and true Aston Martin colours. It's such a good example that it was chosen to be featured in a "Collectors Edition" of a classic car specialist magazine along with a Jaguar XK. This car comes with a large history file including the original owner's handbook containing 9 Aston Martin service stamps covering its mileage up to 27,000. The car is currently showing only 32,566 miles. It was cared for from 2011 - 2015 by IK Classics () in a climate-controlled storage facility, with regular servicing. The car has been privately garaged by both owners since then. 4k was recently spent renewing ageing rubber hoses etc. The DB7 was supplied in January 1996 by Grange Aston Martin, Brentwood. The car's second owner exported the car to Hong Kong. The next owner purchased it in 2005 and it remained in HK until being re-imported to the UK in 2011. The centre console even includes parking permits from The Hong Kong Jockey Club, along with the Aston Martin owner's lapel pin, still in its wrapper. This DB7 has not had a hard life, properly looked after throughout. It's low mileage, service history and overall condition speak volumes, and the car drives beautifully. It sailed through its recent MOT without a single advisory note. There are some cosmetic issues. The front spoiler/skirt has unfortunately rubbed against a steep driveway ramp, which resulted in some cracking. This will obviously need attention at some point, but does not affect driving at all. The rear bumper and bonnet show natural signs of their age. It is a 30 year old car after all. This car is in great overall condition with very low mileage and a full service history. If you're in the market for a great Aston Martin DB7, look no further.
