Description
1989 Land Rover 90 CSW V8 Petrol - Classic with Long-Term Ownership, VIC Checked, Rare Spec
A very well-presented Land Rover Defender 90 County Station Wagon (CSW) with the desirable 3.5L V8 petrol engine, finished in red. I've owned this Land Rover since 2006 and it's had only minimal annual mileage (approx. 200 miles/year), having covered just over 122,000 miles total from new.
Recent Work:
The vehicle has been carefully maintained, with the following parts recently renewed:
Battery
Alternator
Ignition coil
Distributor
Radiator
Thermal fan coupling
Mechanical & Off-Road Features:
3.5L V8 Petrol engine (original)
Manual gearbox
Front and rear electric differential locks
Factory-fit air conditioning
Original Kenwood stereo
Two sets of wheels included
County Station Wagon seating configuration
Vehicle History:
The vehicle was written off prior to my ownership due to minor accident damage, and was professionally repaired. It underwent a successful Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) on 15th September 2006, which is recorded on the V5C.
Since purchase, it has been reliable and used sparingly. I also personally knew the previous three owners, and can vouch for the car's long, consistent history.
Condition:
The Land Rover is in very good condition for its age both mechanically and cosmetically. There is some age-related wear as expected for a classic of this era, but it starts, drives and runs extremely well.
