This car is incredible, really. I had an older Boxster previously, a 2.5 and this is light years ahead, plus the design of the 987 is just right in my opinion, particularly the headlights. You will not find another in this specification, starting with the colour, Macadamia. This is a Porsche PTS colour, now costing in excess of 7000 to spec. It has hints of bronze and gold in it, and in the sunlight looks incredible. of course there are plenty of black or silver models around..... I have looked and I believe there were less than 5 cars delivered in this colour. The wheels also are the Carrera Sport option which is a rare option to see and definitely lifts the look against all the more popular choices out there. All tyres are relatively recent with plenty of tread remaining. Inside is immaculate, the option of the trim being painted in exterior colour was ticked and again lifts an interior that sometimes can appear dark and gloomy. additionally, the previous owner upgraded to the OEM Porsche Classic Communication Management system with touchscreen interface and Apple CarPlay integration. This is also wireless so makes the car bang up to date. The seat bolsters are immaculate, the leather uncreased. A Bose system was also specified which sounds amazing! The transmission is the Tiptronic S. I know Porsche officiandos will say this isn't a proper gearbox, and usually I would agree. I was cautious of this, but the rest of the car is so unique, the Tiptronic became less important. Having now driven in lots of different scenarios, I actually think its a fantastic option. The buttons respond quickly, it is millimetres away from a PDK which everyone raves about. Try it, you probably will be surprised! Many automotive YouTubers now talk about this being as good an option as a manual, and in the "real" world being much more usable. The history with this car was another reason I bought it........incredible. all the money has been spent at Porsche by the previous owner, nothing has been spared. totally complete and up to date. Even has an official Porsche car cover and window cleaner The engine pulls strongly, sounds incredible past 4000 rpm, no smoke, no ticking, absolutely nothing needs doing to it. I am not a car dealer btw, just a very enthusiastic and loving petrolhead who definitely will regret this decision, but life is life and I want to pass to its next custodian who will value the car as I have. The number plate will be removed before sale
