Description
Reluctantly selling my 2015 Mk7 Golf R as I'm just not using it much anymore (1600 miles to previous service in 2024), and it's time for someone else to enjoy this great car!
Private plate not included. Original has now been put back on: HW15 LOJ
This car sounds great on start-up and in race mode with the res delete. When running in normal mode, it sounds like a normal sporty golf. Best of both worlds, and not obnoxious in any way!

There are 2 small indents near the fuel filler cap, but they aren't noticeable unless you are close. I tried to get the best photos I could.
Alloy wheels have a few scuffs, and the lacquer is starting to come away as you'd expect for a 10 year old car, so they will need a bit of attention, but nothing major.
I had a leak in the boot (very common on these), so I replaced the boot badge drain pipe which had perished, re-sealed the air vents behind the rear bumper, and re-sealed the rear tail lights. No more leak.
There is currently a check oil light showing on the dash which appeared to be down to a faulty oil level sensor. This was replaced at the recent service in April, however the error was still being shown. I tracked a possible fix down on the forums to a faulty bonnet latch sensor. Why it shows as an oil level issue, who knows?! I have replaced the bonnet latch, and the oil level issue is still showing. To reiterate, the bonnet shuts securely, the engine is full of oil, and there are no faults shown in the computer system for diagnostics.
