This is my 2nd BMW X5 and I love them they drive great and a real pleasure to own, bags of space. Up until 108,000 miles car was taken care of by BMW Dealer and BMW specialists. After last service and timing chain replacement, engine developed unusual noises. After deciding to keep the car we decided to have the engine rebuilt, using a garage that works on High end cars they then removed the engine and striped it down, the block and crank was sent off to be cleaned and investigated by specialists, the block and crank were put back to as new condition. Engine was fully re-built with all new BMW/OEM parts, seals, chains, pistons, conrods, hoses etc. Newly rebuilt engine was put back into the car and was given 10,000 mile warranty. The car has now done over 13,000 miles on the new engine and is fully bedded in with zero issues and runs like a new car. (I have some pictures from when work was done). After the engine rebuild it's had 4/5 services with a maximum of 4000 miles between oil changes. Car is also only ever driven with premium fuel. This last month I have needed to change the front Diff as it started to fail. Again, this was a BMW M-Sport new front Diff and rear diff has been serviced. Front left and right wheel bearings have been replaced and rear brakes have been done. I have not skimped on any of the work done to this car and the car drives great lots of power and really nice as a daily motorway drive. We have also done multiple trips to Europe in this car and its never let us down. Do not let the mileage of this car put you off. It's a very high spec example of a BMW X5 and when I bought this one, I spent months looking for this spec. It will easily do another 100/150k miles plus, if looked after.
