Description
BMW 440i (convertible) 67 reg.
Milage: 65,300
Full service history (partially BMW and partial local specialist) most recent one done two weeks ago which included spark plugs.
HPI clear (report included)
In my ownership in addition to regular maintaince it's had:
1. Coolant flush
2. Apple car play
3. Ambient lighting
4. Scorpion xseries canbus immobiliser
5. Brake disks and pads
6. New tyres (2023) still have plenty of life left as I usually do around 5,000 miles annually, passed recent mot without any advisories.
7. New battery Dec 2024.
8. Rear left alloy welded to a very high standard (receipt provided)
9. Amp repaired and professionally installed (Remanx) very reputable company so it has a lifetime warranty. Also did the clearance of drains that can cause the water to build up.
Apart from this the car has some subtle style mods from CT carbon (splitter, spoiler, side skirts, diffuser) and some quirky codes like digital speedo, acoustic locking, sequencing indicators.
It's not had any maps or screwed around with exhaust so it's completely standard and civilised can be left that way (my preference) or a good starting ground for mods! Also I'm not a boy racer so always have waited till car is warm before driving and filled with 99Ron. Mostly used as weekend car as have access to another car and motorbike. So not thrashed. Also tried my best to keep up with washes by doing them mostly myself so hopefully not that many swirl marks on the paintwork.
Bad bits/things to improve if I keep ownership of the vehicle:
1) The front splitter is cracked (I have a new one from CT carbon but haven't installed it will include in the purchase).
2) Can do with a full detail although clean and tidy a machine polish will really bring out the paint. I have used ceramic coatings but they are fading so again a full detail will really help the vehicle.
3) Some scratches on paint work nothing major (can include pics mostly can be polished or use the touch up paint).
4) Alloys would need a refurb (again if I keep it I would get it done but as selling it I haven't got that done.
5) Gearbox service is also due which again if I keep it I would have had it done but it's more of a maintenance thing on the ZF.
I've tried to be as honest as possible reason for sale is we have a baby and although have reluctantly managed for the last 10 months it's getting a bit tricky to use with the baby getting bigger. I have absolutely loved owning it not in a rush to sell
