Thanks for looking at my add. I am selling my cherished 968 Sport (Club Sport Lux) after 5 years of ownership. I have had a great time with this car and made quite a few improvements to it in my ownership. I have a comprehensive file on this car with a mostly full service history prior to my ownership and full service history in my ownership. I'll try and cover the main points of the car and be as honest as I can, i'm also happy to answer any questions. 135k miles - less than 5000 / annum. Mileage will go up as it's my daily run about during the summer. The engine was re-built at 100k miles (prior to my ownership) - i have the receipt which was significant. The engine runs smoothly, always starts on the button and pulls really well once you get past 4000revs and the vario-cam kicks in. I had the car inspected and subsequently serviced by Northway Porsche of Newbury (they classed it as a goodun') - I am sure they would give any prospective buyer an independent view of the car if needed. As well as normal servicing in the last 5 years i have - replaced discs and pads all round, fitted stainless steel exhaust (car now has character without being too loud or boomy), replaced suspension with K&W V3 roadsport coilovers, fitted new clutch slave and master cyclinder + had the sunroof seal replaced. All tyres are in good condition and have plenty of wear left. The interior has had a complete re-trim by Dave the Trimmer using Porsche houndstooth fabric in black, white & red + leather bolsters. I have also re-sprayed some of the dash trim in white to match the exterior, added a white sticker set to the dials (easily removed) and changed the standard seatbelts for red items - all these addition transform the sports otherwise dark and dingy interior. There is a period Blaukpunkt stereo with bluetooth connection and phone prep. There are additonal speakers in the car but i'd only class the stereo as OK. Dry stored during winter months since i have owned it + the car comes with a Classic cars cover. Paint is in good condition with some small age related chips / skuffs. I don't have a record of the car ever having a re-spray but it looks fantastic for a 30 year old car and gets attention wherever it goes! Everything works as it should with one small exception - the voltage gauge is stuck. This has never worried me so I have left it be. Private plate not included in the sale.
