The Boxster RS 60 Spyder was built to honour Porsche’s outright win at Sebring in 1960, with production capped at just 1,960 cars worldwide. More than a trim package, it came with more power than the Boxster S, PASM suspension, a switchable sports exhaust, 19-inch SportDesign alloys, and a bold Carrera Red leather interior. And then there’s the gearbox. While many RS 60s were specified with PDK, only a small number left the factory as manuals. This car is one of those rare few — making it especially desirable for collectors and enthusiasts. I was genuinely over the moon to acquire this RS 60 Spyder for The Vertex Collection. Its provenance and condition are exactly what we look for: a superb history file with Porsche Centre Silverstone in its early years, followed by maintenance from two of the UK’s leading specialists — Autofarm and Unique Porsche. Autofarm carried out a suspension refresh, steam-cleaned and waxoyled the underside, and completed a major service in 2019. Unique Porsche completed a major service and full bore scope inspection in 2023, with all cylinders confirmed excellent. Recent service completed in June 2025. Current mileage is 61,805, with fewer than 4,000 miles covered since the bore scope, providing peace of mind for the next owner.
